He was predeceased by: his parents, Almus Beardsley and Mary Beardsley (Grim); and his sisters, Dorothy Mauch and Marian Wolford. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Dina; his children, John (Mary), Mike (Laura), Jim Beardsley and Mary Kay Erb (Greg); and his grandchildren, Gregory, Breanna (Dustin), Emily, Michael (Amber), Scott and Joey.
