He was predeceased by: his stepsons, Jeff Williams and Ted Williams; and his sisters, Shirley and Gladys. He is survived by: his parent Rose Buck Schmidt; his wife Shirley A. Schmidt (Burau); and his daughter Trudy Arsenart of San Diego, Calif.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
