Charles H. Whitman Obituary
The memory of Charles H. Whitman of Canfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Charles departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Charles. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whitman and Ora Whitman (Haller); his sister Irene Whitman; and his former wife Elizabeth Whitman. He is survived by: his children, Charles Whitman (Laurie), Donald Whitman (Laura E.) and Mollie Turner (Denny Zimmet). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (19 Stadium Dr, Boardman, OH 44512).
