She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Higel and Anna Holschuh Higel of Austria; her daughter Holly A. Bunker; and her siblings, Viola Kranich (Paul), Helen Lamantia, Anna Kraysets and Frank Higel.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Farris (Fred Abousleman) of Fort Collins, Colorado and Lance Farris of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Brittany Farris and Max Bunker of Pembroke, Massachusets; and her former husband Gordon "Duke" Farris.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Northwood Charitable Foundation.
