He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Davison and Alice Davison (Leroy); his wife Bernadine Dill; his son Alfred "Skip" Davison; and his grandson Eric Davison.

He is survived by: his sons, Thomas "Ted" Davison (Marjorie) and Paul Davison; his sister Margaret "Peg" Gibson; and his grandchildren, Daniel (Katie), Doug Davison, Annie Knueven (Brandon) and Katie Davison. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
