It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley N. Adkins of Canal Winchester, Ohio, born in Lucasville, Ohio, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Nance and Anna Colley; her husband Troy Jay Adkins Sr.; her sons, Troy Jay Adkins Jr. and Benjamin James Adkins; and her grandson Patrick Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Baumann (Anthony), Craig Adkins (Tonda) and Paul Adkinsp; her daughter-in-law Shari Adkins; her grandchildren, Joy Adkins, Erica Robinson, Ashley Seaton, Kelly Finegan, Arielle Will, Troy Adkins III, Whitney Stewart, Chelsea Farris, Paul David Adkins, Elizabeth Winterhoff, Benjamin Adkins, Grace Adkins and Abigail Adkins; and her great grandchild Tatum Blair. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home - Canal Winchester (650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Shirley's family requests that donations in her memory be made to Fairhope Hospice Palliative Care, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
