She is survived by: her husband Harry Richard Bates; her children, Ruth Anne Leonard (Stan) of Kingsport, TN, Steve Bates (Jeanette) of Duluth, GA, Karen Hinton (Randy) of Canal Winchester and Philip Bates (Kathy) of New Bern, NC; her brothers, Max Winland (Janet), Danny Winland (Connie) and Joe Winland (Barb); and her sisters-in-law, Ilene Hinkle and Leila Bates. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
Rose Anne (Winland) Bates, 86, of Canal Winchester, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Canal Winchester Rehab and Assisted Living after a long battle with Alzheimer 's disease.
