He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph N. Painter and Bertha M. Painter (Deeds); and his wife Cindy. He is survived by: his son Greg Painter (Mindy); his grandchildren, Jack Painter and Emmah Usher; his sister Barbara England; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Patterson, Cheryl Lott (Bill), Rick Kilbarger (Jane) and Doug Kilbarger (Penny). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). The military honors was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (1500 S Broad St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
