He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest W. and Mary L. Smith (Mitman); his wife Barbara Lee Smith (Cotterman); and his sisters, Grace Parker and Judy Minnich.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Delgrosso (Mike) of Canal Winchester and Karen Mitchell (Kenny) of Lithopolis; his grandchildren, Audrey Lee Gauthier (Dave) of Lithopolis, Erin Rae Henson (Glen) of Hilliard and Maggie Ann Hemmelgarn (Matt) of Worthington; his great grandchildren, Josie Gauthier, Ada Henson, Tyson Gauthier and Wesley Hemmelgarn; his brother-in-law Marvin Cotterman (Janice) of DeGraff; his friends, Ron Parker and Tim Parker; his nieces and nephews, Elaine Stockstill, Ann Burling, Vickie Yamaguchi, Collette Lewis, Betsy Moffett, Lori Davis, Steven Cotterman, John Cotterman, Matthew Cotterman, Bob Minnich, Bill Minnich, Joe Minnich and Doug Minnich; and his pet Precious.
