It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nelda J. Smith in Canal Winchester, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice "Sonny" Smith; her daughter Vicki Anderson (Steve); her grandchild Devon Schaffran (Scott); her great grandchild Avery Schaffran; her parents, Stanley Swain and Bessie Swain (Dillion); and her siblings, Naomi Gooderham, Bertha Mae Bickel, Aldean Mille, Wanda Scarbrough, Paul Swain, Orman Swain and Nelson Swain.
She is survived by: her brother Verlin Swain (Joanne); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Swain. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Madison Christian Church Worship Center Remodel Fund in Nelda's memory.
