He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eugene (Gene) and Eileen Kistler (Botts); and his siblings, Gary E. Kistler, Sharon L. Altman (Kistler) and Marilyn A. Harper (Kistler).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Kistler (Smith); his children, Scott E. Kistler (Karen) and Amy Shetrone (Robert); his stepson Jeff Hunter (Christy); his grandchildren, Julia (William), Hoogerwerff (William, Jr.), Dylan Kistler, Garrett Kistler (US Navy), Taylor Johnson (Ted), Sam Shetrone, Morgan Balsimo (Brady) and Madison Holbert (Logan); and his sister Denise Keefe (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations can be made out to the funeral home for the funeral expenses.
