With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce G. Hummel of Canal Winchester, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 17, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gillen and Gladys Gillen (Blair); her husband Richard "Dick" Hummel; and her grandson Andrew Hummel. She is survived by: her children, Dennis L Hummel (Lynne) of Chesterfield, MO, Mary L DeVault (Thomas) of Maineville, OH, Kathy L Hinton (Steve) of Canal Winchester, OH, James E Hummel (Jill) of Canal Winchester, OH and David R Hummel (Suzanne) of Oxford, OH. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to David Evangelical Lutheran Church or Capital City Hospice.
