James F Cook Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F Cook of Canal Winchester, Ohio, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Cook and Iva Ross (Crawford); his son Shane Cook; his brother Larry Cook; and his brothers-in-law, Eric Blankenship and Dick Pickering.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. (Blankenship); his daughters, Robin Cook of Tampa, FL and Jami Cook (Curt Radabaugh) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Ashley Cook of Circleville and Curtis Preston of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Ezra Collins and Caroline Preston; his sister Patricia Pickering; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Eitel (Jeff), Cary Blankenship, Linda Whaley (Cliff), Tom Blankenship, Joanne Eitel (Brian) and John Blankenship (Rhonda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home (420 W Main St, Ashville, OH 43103). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
