We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Herbert Gustave Poenisch of Canal Winchester, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Poenisch and Hazel Poenisch (Dellenbach); his wife Margaret "Peggy" Poenisch; and his brothers, Richard and Paul Poenisch.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Christy (Gary), Sheila Jamieson, Linda Cotton and Terri Jones (David); and his grandchildren, Grant Christy (Tara), Lauren Belmont (Adam), Jamie Jamieson, Matt Arthur (Melanie), Kelly Flynn (Eric), Sarah Godlewski (Aaron) and Ashley Huston (Robin). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Herb & Peggy Poenisch Memorial Fund through Gender Road Christian Church.
