With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl W. Cathers of Canal Winchester, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on May 1, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John E. Cathers; and his brothers, Donald, Robert and Howard Cathers. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Cathers; his children, Mark Cathers (Robin) and Jane Root (Kim); his grandchildren, Jonathan Cathers (Lindsay), Michael Cathers (Jennifer), Joel Cathers (Megan), Kristin Patterson (Bill), Andrew Root (Brittany), Jessica Pinion (Matthew) and Alex Root (Stefanie); and his great grandchildren, Layla, Gabrielle, Liam, Neal, Campbell, Parker, Sam, Jack, Silas, Hazel, Archie, Olive and Fulton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
