He is survived by: his wife Frances Rogers Thompson; his children, Gerald Thompson (Melissa) of Lancaster, Kimberly Waid (Jonathan) of Canal Winchester and Stephen Thompson of Canal Winchester; and his grandchildren, Cody Thompson, Nathan, Joshua Waid, Emily, Joseph and Jacob Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
