He is survived by: his wife Sandy Pierce (Lyons); his children, Susan Pierce-Frey (Ed), Pat McGaughey (Mike) and William Pierce, Jr. (Beth); his siblings, Ralph Pierce (Edna), Dianne McCreery (Sereno), Mary Hackett, Grace Barger (Budd), Jane Admonius (Frank) and Theresa Fiest; and his sisters-in-law, Bev Pierce and Jeanne Athey.
