We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2024, at the age of 52, William Paul Kusmits of Canal Fulton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Jamie Showers. He is survived by: his great-nephew Henry O'Neil; his wife Tracy Kusmits (Showers); his children, Jeremy Johnson, Casey Johnson (Jill) and Mikayla Runnells (Joel); his grandchildren, Taylor, Natalie and Lizzie; his great-nephew Bennett; his parents, Tom Kusmits and Patricia Kusmits; his siblings, Tammy Johnson (George), John Kusmits (Kim) and Julie Farley (Todd); his sister-in-law Michelle Riffle (Scott); and his nieces and nephews, Billy Johnson (Emma), Jimmy Johnson (Becky), Joey Johnson (Noel), Katie Johnson, Jeff Kusmits (Morgan), Jacki Hines (Matt), Josh Kusmits (Tessa), Tory Burns (Rob), Taylor Farley, Andrew Martina (Liz), Frankie Martina (Zak), Brittany Harris (Dylan), Emily O'Neil (Jon), Anna Martina (Gage) and Charleigh Riffle.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name can be made to the Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders, 1 Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308.

“I am just now seeing this is my heart aches. I knew Bill from work and everytime I seen him, he had the biggest smile and just always in a good mood. He is one of the few men that I knew that had a genuine heart and really loved life. To say an empty void at work will now exist is an understatement. I am truly sorry for you lose. Bill will be missed by many. Matt”
