She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Covert and Bette Covert; and her brother Bruce Covert. She is survived by: her husband Rick Chappelear; her siblings, Corky Covert (Kathy) and Kevin Covert (Marci); her sister-in-law Jerri Whitlow (Bob); her niece Holli Frank; and her nephews, Jeff Covert, Todd Covert, Jason Covert, Rob Whitlow, Steve Whitlow and Barry Whitlow.
