He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wilhelm and Ethel Wilhelm; and his sister Beatrice. He is survived by: his spouse Hollis Wilhelm; his sisters, Marjorie Blair and Patty Gindlesberger (Tom); his niece Lisa Brewer (Terry); and his nephews, Robert Wilhelm (Wendi), Steve Remenaric (Cheryl) and Scott Remenaric.
