He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger H. Mellick and Laura Mellick (Jess); and his sister Alecia Leggett. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Brooks Mellick; his children, Ruth M. Meiser (Steve) and David R. Mellick (Traci); his grandchildren, Ruby, Eliza, Levi Mellick, Rachel, Josiah, Luke and Jonathan Meiser; his sister Mary Woldstad (Chris); his brother-in-law Jay Leggett; and also Carmel Baptist Church of Caroline County, VA.
