He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Weigand and Irene Weigand (Laughlin); and his brother Ralph Weigand. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Weigand; his daughter Krista LaFay; and his grandchildren, Elora and Isaac LaFay.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. John Lutheran Church, 336 Market St. W, Canal Fulton, OH 44614.
