He was predeceased by: his father Martin Shiplett; and his brother Alan Shiplett. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Shiplett (Schalmo); his daughter Cara Rich (Aaron); his grandchildren, Jim Shiplett (McKensie), Cesidio "CJ", Luke, Vera, Easton, Emmett and Ella; his mother Bonnie Heard; and his brothers, Marty Shiplett, Roland Heard and Mike Heard.
