It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maritta Smith of Canal Fulton, Ohio, born in Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Horvath and Mary Horvath (Trpka); her grandson Colton Smith; and her brothers, Larry and Kenny Horvath.

She is survived by: her husband Kip Smith; her children, Katrina Bahl (Chuck), Colton (Rose) and Chris Smith; her grandchildren, Luke, Tim Bahl, Jessie, Serenity, Kilee and Lucie Smith; and her brother John (Laura).

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
