With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Ellen Collins of Canal Fulton, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul McGarry and Doris McGarry; her husband James T. Collins; and her siblings, Robert McGarry and Maryann Longaberger.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Foster (Roger), Mike Collins (Kelly), Tim Collins (Lisa), Scott Collins (Kim) and Joseph Collins (Debbie). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home (624 Cherry St E, Canal Fulton, OH 44614). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
She was a selfless, caring and generous person; whether volunteering with Mecca or donating to various veteran charities and St. Jude.
