He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Raymond and Nellie Blanche Williams Venable; and his siblings, Raymond Leon Venable, Clyde Venable and Lenora Venable.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Cornelia Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Jerome Venable Jr. (Melissa) of Christiansburg, VA, Jerri Yvette Venable-Hayden (Marcus) of Youngstown and Jermaine Anthony Venable (Chantel) of Campbell; his sisters, Ethel D. Jenkins of Spokane, WA and Brenda J. Jenkins of Youngstown; and his close friend Shirley Anderson of North Jackson. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
