Florence J. Galida Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence J. Galida of Campbell, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florence J. Galida to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael J. Katula and Anna Katula (Solic); her sisters-in-law, Carol Galida (Palen) and Patricia Galida (Vargo); her niece Sara Lopez; and her nephew Stephen Galida.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. John F. Galida; her daughters, Gale Ross (Blanding), Lynn Lattimer Nelson (Rick) and Joan Fuller; her grandchildren, Michael Livosky Jr., Seth Fuller, Andrew Lattimer, Kaitlyn Lattimer, Carly Lattimer, Jessica Ross and Lara Ross; and her siblings, Carol Carney (Michael), Michael J. Katula, Jr. (Marion) and Gloria Katula. She is also survived by four great-grandsons.
Florence was inducted into the Campbell Athletics Hall of Fame for her contributions to Campbell sports and she received the Distinguished Alumni award from the Campbell Alumni Association.
