She was predeceased by: her parents, John Macala and Helen Macala (Purda); and her brothers, Peter (Mary) and John G. (Mary Lou). She is survived by: her children, Lynn (Lisko) and John Lisko; and her granddaughters, Lauren and Megan DeChellis.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Library Foundation, part of The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County in Dorothy's memory or to a favorite charity of your own.
