He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Parsons and Bessie Jane Parsons (Airgood); and his siblings, Betsy Fields, Loretta Parsons, Thomas and James Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Tofil; his children, Jeannie Ruiz (Cip) of Youngstown and Dave Jr. of Campbell; his granddaughters, Catalina and Gabriella Ruiz; his siblings, Mary Ellen Misik of Sharon, Susan B. Parsons of Lordstown and Joseph Parsons of New Bedford; his sister-in-law Cindi Parsons of Youngstown; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews, a great-great-niece.
