It is with great sadness that we announce the death of America Burgos (Campbell, Ohio), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Rodriguez and Cruz Miranda; her husband Anibal Burgos; and her son Jose Anibal Burgos, Jr.. She is survived by: her family, Evelyn Rivera (Raul) of Campbell, Martha Toledo (Angel) of Lorain, Roselyn Gonzalez (Chico) of Campbell, Miladys Ocasio (Frank) of Boardman, Sandra Esparra (Porfirio, Jr.) of Youngstown, Joann Burgos of Boardman and Nancy Esparra (Reynaldo) of Boardman. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wasko Funeral Home (216 Coitsville Rd, Campbell, OH 44405). A prayer was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dominic Parish (77 E Lucius Ave, Youngstown, OH 44507).
