He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Singleton and Flora Singleton; his wife Barbara Jean Bohl; and his siblings, Joyce "Boots" Iles, Kenneth Singleton and Raymond Singleton.

He is survived by: his children, Duane (Vickie Singleton), Jean Melzer and Scott (Michelle Singleton); his grandchildren, Shaun Brooks, Ryan Singleton, Jonathon Singleton (Tina), Conner Singleton and Justin Singleton; and his brother William Singleton (Ann). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

His family request memorials in his honor to the Milford American Legion Post #450, The Camp Dennison Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
