He was predeceased by: his mother Darlena Harman Shedd; and his sister Delena Shedd. He is survived by: his parent William Norris Shedd Sr.; his wife Christi Cowan Shedd; his sons, Billy Shedd and Brent Shedd; and his grandson Landon Shedd.
