She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wells and Martha Lee Wells (Short); her husband Sylvanis "Syl" Gunter, Sr.; and her siblings, Danny Wells, Sr., Johnny Wells, Sr., James Short and Earleen Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl, Wesley Napier, Sylvia Jean Arcuragi, Sylvanis Gunter, Jr. and Gerri M. Gunter; her grandchildren, Keith Arcuragi, Dalton Gunter, Caleb Napier, Seth Napier and Shyanne Gunter; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Napier and Caroline Napier.
