He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ebbing and Luella Ebbing (Agee); his wife Linda Ebbing (Metzger); his siblings, Rosemary Robinson (Jack Robinson) and Harold Ebbing (Betty Ebbing); and his siblings-in-law, Aileen Ebbing and Bobby Metzger.
He is survived by: his children, Chris of Somerville, OH and Cathi Sander (Jon) of Durham, NC; his siblings, Albert Ebbing, Ted Ebbing (Judy), Larry Ebbing (Lorene) and Cheryl Ebbing; his sister-in-law Kathy Merrill (Gordy); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Caitlyn, Audrey and Annika; and his close friend Tari Grimes. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
