She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Vivian; her siblings, Nick Steele and Frances Webb; and her stepdaughter Julie Johnston. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Ann Shaeffer; her grandchildren, Jack David Buchanan, Michala Elizabeth Buchanan and Elijah Thomas Shaeffer; her great grandchildren, Kai, Tristin and Jaidin; her stepchildren, John Vivian, Amy McGough and Josh Vivian; her siblings, Evelyn Summers (Herb), Helen Whitesell (Don), Dottie Douglass (Jim "Turk"), Martha Spellman (Mike), Neil Steele (Marion) and David Steele (Brenda); and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Steele, Roy, Barbara Vivian and Berniece Ferguson. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 250 E. Broad St., Suite 1750, Columbus, Ohio 43215, for additional research of multiple myeloma.
