He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Petro; his brother Robert Jr. Petro; his grandparents, Russell, Naomi Petro, Louis and Lillian Whitesell; and his parents-in-law, Joe Eddie and Marjorie Frasur.
He is survived by: his mother Mary "Mamie" Petro (Whitesell); his son Jessie (Jessica); his wife Kathy Sue "Katsue" (Frasur); his grandchildren, Audrey, Conway and Emmett; his siblings, Debbie Baum (Dennis), Keith Petro (Kathy) and Paul Dean Petro (Kristy); his siblings-in-law, Carole Corn, Joanna Dunaway (Tom), Terry Frasur (Mark Stelle) and Larry Frasur (Mary); and his nephew Joey Frasur. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
