He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Michael and Berdyne Michael (Rust); his grandparents, Iva, Corbin Rust, Daisy and Hescott Michael; and his brother Duane Michael.
He is survived by: his son James J. Michael (Bobbie Jo); his grandchildren, Derek Michael, Caroline and Tiffany Taylor (Mike); his great grandchildren, Jameis Ryan Michael, Noah Ryan Grooms, Kinley Taylor and Gentry Taylor; and his sister-in-law Lola Michael.
