He is survived by: his parent Cora Evans Tanner; his wife Ellen Sheppard Tanner; his children, Jessi Blakeman (James) of Orlando, FL and Jeff Tanner (Pam Goff) of Parkersburg; his siblings, Eva Russell of Ohio, Carolyn Cottrel (Deward) of Ohio and Morris Tanner (Dixie) of Elizabeth, WV; and his grandchildren, Jordan Tanner, Justin Tanner, Tanner Blakeman and Avery Blakeman.
