She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett E. Steele and Hazel M. Steele (Widau); and her siblings, Nick Steele, Frances Webb and Elaine Vivian.
She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Whitesell; her children, Ty Whitesell (Kim) of Louisville, KY and Susan Kieffer (Tim) of Marion, OH.; her grandchildren, Megan, Elise, Kate Whitesell, Ian (Addair Levine), Gretchen Kieffer, Dakota and Hunter Hoffman; and her siblings, Evelyn Summers (Herb), Neil Steele (Marian), Dottie Douglass, David Steele (Brenda) and Martha Steele Spellman. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church (35 N Liberty St, Camden, OH 45311). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Fairmount Cemetery (7371 Camden Rd, Camden, OH 45311).
