He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Edward and Zoe Corene Hawkins Geibel; and his brother James Geibel. He is survived by: his children, Kristin McDaniel (Brant) of Parkersburg, Steven E. Geibel (Tamra) of Parkersburg and Jon M. Geibel (Kimberly) of Parkersburg; and his grandchildren, Alexander Geibel, Addison Geibel, Aislyn Geibel, Asher Geibel and Reagan Gray McDaniel.
