He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin C. Brandenburg and Mildred L. Brandenburg (Louk); his wife Cathy; his brothers, Samuel Louk, Calvin L. Brandenburg and Curtis Eugene Brandenburg; his grandchildren, Zhane and Zophia Bahnweg; and his daughter-in-law Brandy Brandenburg.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Brandenburg (Lettie), James Brandenburg (Heather), Chrissy Bahnweg (Steve) and Mike Paulus (Jamie); his grandchildren, Zach Paulus (Shannon), Hannah Paulus, Nathan Brandenburg, Trevin Brandenburg, Boone Brandenburg, Clayton Brandenburg, Luke Garnett, Finnley Bahnweg, Owen Garnett, Cashton Bahnweg, Victoria Lowman and Allie Garnett; his great grandchildren, Gunner Amyx and Mayli Vance; and his sister Cindy Laymaster (Williard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
