He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Howard and Ethel Howard; his daughter Shasha Carpenter; and his sisters, Wilma, Wanda and Mary Frances Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Howard (Oaks); his children, Dwayne Howard (Alisa) of Germantown, Merica Fallen (Wendell) of Middletown and Renee Dishman (Wally) of Camden; and his brother Gary Howard of Middletown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
