He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Ford and Florence Ford (King); his son William Bruce Ford; his in-laws, Clarence and Alice Cramblett; his sister Betty Jean Alloway; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Cramblett, James E. Cramblett and Richard Wells.

He is survived by: his wife Martha; his son James Ford (Emily); his brothers, Robert and Kenneth Ford; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Ford, Ruth Ford, Jeanette Wells and Sherry Cramblett; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly Ford. He is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandsons, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home Inc. (139 S 9th St, Cambridge, OH 43725). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 5:30 PM and on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
