It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Chumney (Cambridge, Ohio), born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reader Ray and Lena Olga Chumney (Opplinger); his siblings, Charlene Chumney, Doyle and Gene Chumney; and his daughter Denise Chumney.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Chumney (Aston); his children, Connie Dunlap (Greg) of Cambridge, Bruce Chumney (Cynthia) of Zanesville and Andy Chumney (Jen) of Washington, PA; his grandchildren, Greg (Keleigh), Tim (Meghan), Cassandra Chumney and Christian Johnson (Madison); his daughter Ava Chumney; and also, Rowan and Baylor. He is also survived by four children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, the family has requested that services and burial be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made to either the Old Washington Volunteer Fire Department or the Antrim Volunteer Fire Department.
