Vernon L. Yontz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon L. Yontz of Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on December 24, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Lee Yontz and Dolores Yontz (Freda); and his wife Joyce L. Yontz (Caskey). He is survived by: his children, Vernon L. Yontz II of Caldwell and Hope Hall of Cambridge; his sister Kathy Hill of Newark; his grandchildren, Vernon L. Yontz III, Anthony Michael Yontz, Torrie Yontz, Madyson Yontz, Jordan Hall and Jada Hall; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Rice and Tyler Hill; and his pet Riley.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (December 29, 2021) from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p. m. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Guernsey County Animal Shelter.
