He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Walter and Betty L. Walter (Leeper); his brother George Michael Walter; and his nephews, Corey Walter and Billy "Hoss" Touvell.
He is survived by: his son Thomas James "Tommy" Walter (Krisha) of Cambridge; his siblings, Jonathan Walter (Amber Vance) of Cambridge, Kenny Walter of Cambridge, James Walter of Buckeye Lake, Deborah Walter of Cambridge, Jane Walter (Jim Simpson) of Cambridge and Tammy Walter (Frank Hawkins); and his grandchildren, Aislin and Kairin Walter.
