He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pontius and Betty Pontius (Davis); his wife Jo Williams-Pontius; his granddaughter Staci Dawn Taylor; and his great grandchild Mason Reasoner.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Williams (Nikki) of Cambridge, Keith Landaker of Cambridge, Jerry Williams (Jess) of Cambridge, Kevin Landaker (Traci) of Cambridge, Eddie Williams of Cambridge, Brad Pontius of Byesville, Pegi Hood (John Hudson) of Cambridge and Alicia Clift (Jason) of Caldwell; his siblings, Dave Pontius (Roxie) of Shelbyville, KY, Judy Stevens of Cambridge, Rita Reed (Jody) of Trinway, Becky McCall (John) of New Concord, Joyce Eddy (Eugene) of Kentucky, Ellen Pruitt (Mark) of Oklahoma and Nancy Jeffery (Sam) of Cambridge; and his pets, Mya and Everest. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
