She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Stevens and Mary Stevens (Fitzgerald); her siblings, Dorothy, Leona "Sissy", Nova, Bobby, Danny and Chuck; and her brother-in-law Butch McManaway.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Whitis; her children, Bobby Collins (Ginger) of Columbus, Dean Collins (Tina) of Amanda, Brenda Lambert of Zanesville, Becky Collins of Sierra Vista, AZ and Shannon Black (Doug) of Cambridge; her sister Evelyn McManaway of Cambridge; and her pet Lilly. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, several best friends.
