He is survived by: his stepmother Evelyn Patterson; his wife Pamela S. Danley Patterson; his children, Courtney B. Patterson of Cambridge, OH. and Mychal D. Patterson; his daughter-in-law Lexi Cooke of Painesville, OH.; his siblings, Missey Patterson of Cambridge, Robyn Kyser (Gary) of Cambridge, Denny Patterson (Amy) of Cambridge and Dr. Alan "Joey" Patterson (Heather) of Dresden, OH.; his grandchildren, Marshal Patterson and Noah Davidson; his nieces and nephews, Jacob Patterson, Troy Patterson, Sohpia Patterson, Alex Patterson, Sydney Patterson, Ellie Kyser and Keaton Kyser; his close friend Terry Chapman; and his son Tony Chapman.
