He was predeceased by: his father Gomer O. Griffith; and his grandparents, Charles, Cora Griffith, William and Margaret Wheeler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Shane Grifith of Adrian, Georgia, Rhonda Clipner (Tim) of Senecaville, Rene Clipner (Mark) of Byesville and Ashley Wolverton (Chris) of Cambridge.

Memorial donations may be made to the James Cancer Center.
